Commercial EPDM Roof Replacement in Tuscaloosa, AL

The building owner contacted us after multiple attempts to patch a flat roof that had been leaking into an office space for months. The existing membrane was original to the building, well past its expected lifespan, and had developed cracks, seam separations, and ponding areas that would not drain properly.

Our inspection confirmed that spot repairs were no longer viable. The membrane had become brittle across large sections, and the underlying insulation board was saturated in several areas. We recommended a full tear-off and replacement with a new 60-mil EPDM rubber membrane system.

The crew stripped the old membrane and insulation down to the roof deck, replaced damaged decking sections, and installed new polyiso insulation board for improved thermal performance.
